Apple may be developing a completely new app.

Apple may be developing a new app for the iPhone, although it is also possible that it is not.

Apple does not often announce new apps for the iPhone frequently, but rumors have started circulating about the arrival of a new app called Invites, according to recent information. References to this app have been found in the beta 2 update of iOS 18.3, and it was also mentioned in the previous iOS 18.2 betas, although it was not included in the final version. Initially, the betas referred to it as "Apple Invites."

Although there are still no official confirmations about this app, it is speculated that Invites could be designed to help users organize meetings and in-person events, with functionalities similar to the current Calendar app. Among the possibilities, it is suggested that the app would allow users to see a list of guests and those who have already confirmed their attendance.

It is unclear when the official announcement of the Invites app will take place. Since it has been detected in the latest beta of iOS 18.3, it could be presented alongside the first public version of iOS 18.3. Furthermore, it is possible that it may not function as a standalone app; Apple could integrate the new invitation features into existing apps like iMessage.

Unlike iOS 18.2, which introduced many new features related to Apple Intelligence, iOS 18.3 is expected to be less surprising. The new version might include support for robot vacuum cleaners in the Apple Home app, enhancements to the Calculator app, as well as minor updates and bug fixes.

iOS 18.2, released in December, was a major update that brought various improvements for iPhones. New features included Apple Intelligence's Image Playground, which allows for image manipulation using AI, and Genmoji, which enables the creation of custom emojis. The Mail app received a significant redesign, featuring a cleaner interface and new functions such as email scheduling and follow-up reminders. Additionally, iOS 18.2 allowed users to set default apps for browsing, email, and messaging in accordance with EU regulations. Other improvements included updates for Find My, Photos, and Safari, along with bug fixes and performance enhancements to provide a smoother user experience.

The public version of iOS 18.3 could be announced in a few weeks.
