Xiaomi launches its flagship models 15 and 15 Ultra in Europe, but not in the United States.

The new flagship phones from Xiaomi are now arriving in regions outside of Asia.

Xiaomi has recently unveiled its new flagship phone, the 15 Ultra, in China and confirmed its launch in the UK and Europe, along with the base version Xiaomi 15. While there are no updates on the Pro model, a variety of tablets, headphones, and fitness trackers that accompany these phones have been announced.

The 15 and 15 Ultra models are already available for order, starting at £1,299 / €1,499 (around $1,600) for the Ultra, and £899 / €999 (around $1,100) for the 15. Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and feature large-capacity batteries, fast charging both wired and wireless, as well as IP68 certification.

The main difference between the two models lies in their cameras. Both phones have similar specifications, including 50-megapixel main, telephoto, and ultra-wide cameras, but the Ultra utilizes different sensors in each lens, allowing for superior performance. Notably, it features a fourth lens: a 200-megapixel periscope with 4.3x zoom, which stands out in the large camera module on the back of the device. Xiaomi also offers a photography kit for £179 (around $225), which includes a grip with shutter, zoom, and exposure selection buttons.

Alongside the phones, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets are launching, both with 11.2-inch screens and 3.2K resolution at 144Hz. While both have similar specifications, the Pro model is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, compared to the 7 Plus Gen 3 in the standard version, and has higher-resolution cameras. Prices for these tablets start at £369 / €399 (approximately $465) for the Pad 7 and £449 / €499 ($565) for the Pad 7 Pro. The latter is also available in a "Matte Glass" version that reduces glare on the screen, priced at £549 / €649 ($690).

Additionally, Xiaomi has announced the arrival of the Buds 5 Pro in Europe, which are available in both a Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi model, designed to enhance sound quality when connected to compatible Xiaomi phones, specifically the 15 and 15 Ultra at this time. Furthermore, two wearable devices have been introduced: the Smart Band 9 Pro, which offers improved health tracking compared to last year's model, and the Watch S4, a smartwatch that brings back the interchangeable bezel option introduced in the previous year's Watch S3.
