Tomorrow, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on Nvidia's streaming service.

It is the first simultaneous release for the franchise.

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on Nvidia's GeForce Now streaming service next Friday, October 25, coinciding with its release on other platforms. This event marks the first time a game in the Call of Duty series will be available on GeForce Now from day one of its release. This decision follows Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard in 2023 and an agreement that allows franchise games to be accessible on Nvidia's service.

Historically, Call of Duty launches featured exclusive content deals with PlayStation for many years. However, following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Microsoft reached an agreement with Sony to ensure fair conditions for future releases in the series. As part of negotiations with regulators, Microsoft committed to bringing Activision games and some titles from the Xbox library to GeForce Now, as well as ensuring that Call of Duty would also be available on Nintendo platforms.

Additionally, Nvidia's service will add Call of Duty HQ, a launcher that will include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, available on Xbox and PC Game Pass. The new release list for GeForce Now includes several titles, highlighting:

  • Worshippers of Cthulhu (New release on Steam, October 21)
  • No More Room in Hell 2 (New release on Steam, October 22)
  • Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven (New release on Steam, October 24)
  • Windblown (New release on Steam, October 24)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (New release on Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, October 25)
  • Call of Duty HQ, which includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone (Xbox, available on PC Game Pass)
  • DUCKSIDE (Steam)
  • Off the Grid (Epic Games Store)
  • Selaco (Steam)
