Threads now allows scheduling posts.
A positive update.
Threads has introduced the option to schedule posts, as announced by Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram. This functionality, which was in testing last month, is now available to all users. To use it, simply create a new post, access the three-dot menu in the upper left corner, and select "Schedule." Users will be able to schedule their posts up to 75 days in advance, although it will not be possible to schedule replies to posts.
Additionally, Mosseri mentioned that Threads is working on a new tool that will allow users to “tag” posts that are being reshared. This feature will enable users to draw, highlight, or add arrows to existing posts. Currently, this function is being rolled out in some countries, and its availability is expected to expand in the near future.
On the other hand, significant changes are anticipated for Threads, as the fact-checking system will be replaced by Community Notes, as part of a broader shift in moderation by Meta. Furthermore, political content will begin to be included in the platform's recommendations.
