The new Shark fan can disperse air currents in all directions, promising to make the summer much more bearable.
It doesn't resemble a fan at all, but I think the TurboBlade could be a brilliant idea.
Recently, the Shark TurboBlade was launched, an innovative fan that does away with traditional blades and features a distinctive design. This new appliance, which is ideal for combating heat, is characterized by having two arms that generate concentrated air jets. These arms are adjustable, allowing you to tilt their position upwards or downwards, in addition to rotating the base to direct the airflow both horizontally and vertically.
One of the standout features of the TurboBlade is its height adjustment capability, adding versatility to its use. The arms can be oriented in different directions, offering the possibility to direct the air independently, resulting in more personalized control of the environment.
This fan also includes an oscillation function, which is activated when the arms are set to "tower" mode. This allows the device to rotate and expand its cooling range up to 180 degrees. At its maximum power, the TurboBlade can deliver air at an impressive distance of up to 80 feet.
The device offers 10 different operating settings. In "Sleep" mode, sounds are silenced, lights are dimmed, and the fan speed is adjusted to cause minimal disruption. The "AirBlanket" mode can also be activated, providing a wide and quiet horizontal airflow, ideal for those seeking a cool rest at night. For those who want a more natural experience, there is the "Natural Breeze" mode, which randomly alternates the airflow to simulate a fresh outdoor environment.
Although the TurboBlade does not have a misting function like its predecessor, the Shark FlexBreeze, its design remains highly innovative. While there are bladeless fans on the market, this particular one stands out for its aesthetic, which could be mistaken for that of a lamp.
Despite its unconventional appearance, the design has been well received and is quite functional. Its size makes it suitable for various spaces, and it can be stored vertically to save space. Because it is a bladeless fan, cleaning is straightforward, with an intake grille that includes a removable and easy-to-clean filter.
Currently, the Shark TurboBlade is available exclusively in the United States, with a retail price of $249.99 in a charcoal color, and a white option is expected soon. It has not been reported whether it will be offered in other markets such as the United Kingdom or Australia.
