The new interactive map of Infinity Nikki makes it easy to find what you need.
A tool that has been awaited for a long time.
The developers of Infinity Nikki have finally addressed one of the game's biggest challenges: the location of objects within its vast world. Drawing inspiration from similar initiatives in other gacha games like Genshin Impact, Infold Games has created an interactive map that allows players to locate the various items scattered throughout the game.
Being a gacha game, Infinity Nikki features a wide variety of objects to collect and exchange for resources, currency, and clothing. Some of these collectibles bear similarities to those found in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, the difficulty of locating them varies. For instance, whimstars resemble the spirit orbs obtained from shrines and are relatively easy to find thanks to an integrated system that helps locate them. On the other hand, dews of inspiration are rarer and harder to come by; it is estimated that there are over ten million of them, and finding them relies more on luck and perseverance, making them practically impossible to obtain. This difficulty is particularly frustrating since dews can be exchanged for stylish outfits that are useful in the game’s challenging style battles.
The Infinity Nikki community has been persistently requesting a tracking system similar to the one held by the bipedal companion Momo, which helps locate nearby whimstars. The developers have listened to other community requests, such as increasing the outfit slots from four to seven, and they have fulfilled this new request.
Access to a site providing an interactive map will allow players to more efficiently locate the elusive dews of inspiration. By logging in with their Infinity Nikki information, the map is customized to show the items that have already been collected and those that are still missing. This resource will not only help in locating dews but also other items such as treasure chests, hidden clothing vendors, secret caves, and more. Although it’s not as convenient as an in-game map, it updates in real time, making the process of completing the collectibles list easier.
