The goblin Styx returns in "Styx: Blades of Greed" later this year.
The third installment will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
Cyanide Studio has announced the release of Styx: Blades of Greed, the third title in its stealth series. This new installment was showcased during Nacon Connect 2025 and is expected to arrive in fall 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
This time, players will once again accompany Styx, the goblin assassin, on his mission to steal a magical resource known as Quartz. During the presentation, a cinematic trailer was shown, detailing how Styx infiltrates a castle to carry out his plan, betraying his partner and eliminating some guards in the process.
The new game is set in a vertically expressive medieval fantasy world, combining the stealth and action features that have defined the series. Cyanide highlighted that “the game offers open environments, a wide range of powers and tools, and multiple ways to complete objectives.” The mission is clear: steal Quartz and dispose of enemies with cunning and precision.
Styx: Blades of Greed continues the saga that began in 2014 with Styx: Master of Shadows, followed in 2017 by Styx: Shards of Darkness. At the same event, Big Bad Wolf, the studio responsible for Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong, also introduced its upcoming narrative game titled Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, scheduled for release next year.
Additionally, Ace Team announced The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a cooperative first-person horror title, which will also be released in 2025 for the same platforms.
