The first OLED gaming monitor from LG with 480Hz is priced at $1,000.
We present the UltraGear GX7 27-inch monitor, an incredibly fast display.
The 27-inch OLED gaming monitor from LG stands out as one of the fastest models available and is now ready for pre-order. The UltraGear 27GX790A, known as GX7, is priced at $999.99 and features a 480Hz panel from LG Display, announced in early January. This monitor offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a response time of 0.03ms.
In terms of specifications, the GX7 falls into a similar category to Sony's InZone M10S model, which was released in September and is priced at $1,100. While the UltraGear GX7 is slightly more affordable, it lacks some of the performance modes and variable refresh rate features found in Sony’s product.
On LG's website in the United States, the UltraGear GX7 is listed as available for pre-order; however, no delivery date is specified, and it cannot yet be added to the cart for purchase. LG has been contacted for more information, and the situation will be updated if a response is received.
The UltraGear GX7 is compatible with Nvidia’s G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync technologies, helping to mitigate screen tearing and flickering issues. Additionally, it has the DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which allows for a wide color gamut and outstanding black levels. It also features an "Anti-Glare and Low Reflection" coating designed to enhance the visual experience in brightly lit environments.
This monitor offers several ports, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, USB 3.0, and a headphone output. Additionally, it comes with a slim and height-adjustable stand that allows for a tilt of up to 15 degrees and a swivel of up to 30 degrees.
