Microsoft partners with stores in the United States and the United Kingdom to provide an official repair service for Xbox Series X and Series S.

Collaborations have been established with Asurion and Currys.

Microsoft has established partnerships with stores in the United States and the United Kingdom to offer an official repair service for Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. This initiative aims to reduce the amount of electronic waste generated.

In the United States, uBreakiFix by Asurion has been designated as an Authorized Xbox Service Provider, providing the opportunity to perform warranty repairs for Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. This also includes the latest versions, such as the digital edition of the Xbox Series X and the 2TB Galaxy Black model. For repairs, users can schedule an appointment online using the uBreakiFix store locator or directly bring their console to a local store. The store's website states that in-store repairs "can be completed in a few days," although Xbox One console repairs must be managed through Microsoft.

In the United Kingdom, the technology store Currys has become an Authorized Xbox Service Provider. According to Currys' official announcement, consumers will be able to benefit from the company's technical expertise, regardless of where they purchased their Xbox console. Users can visit any Currys store, where they will find knowledgeable staff, or schedule a repair at Europe's largest technology repair center located in Newark, which includes consoles both in and out of warranty. Currys has emphasized its commitment to tackling the rise of electronic waste, and the proposed repair services will allow players to continue using their current consoles instead of having to replace them with a new device.
