In the recent annual shareholders meeting of the company, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, reaffirmed the company's commitment to its cross-platform strategy in the gaming sector. He expressed his enthusiasm about Microsoft's current position in the gaming realm, stating he feels "very, very good" about the progress made so far.

Nadella referred to this momentum in the gaming world, highlighting the recent advertising campaign "This is an Xbox," which illustrates the variety of devices from which users can enjoy Xbox games. He explained that this represents a new way of understanding what it means to be an Xbox fan, emphasizing the gaming experience that is accessible across multiple platforms.

The CEO commented on the launch of Black Ops 6 and its availability on day one in Xbox Game Pass, noting that these moments are key in the video game release calendar. "It has been fantastic to see the launch and promotion, as well as the positive reception and passion for gaming," he added.

Nadella also emphasized the company's long-term vision, aiming to integrate the best innovations in artificial intelligence, cloud technology, consoles, and PCs, with the goal of creating the best games that can be enjoyed by players around the world.
