Sony launches a new beta program for users to test PS5 updates early.

You only need to register once to express your interest.

Sony has announced the launch of a new beta program for PlayStation, designed to make it easier for players to sign up for future beta trials of a variety of experiences on the console. According to Sid Shuman, a representative of the company, this program aims to provide a simpler and more streamlined way for users to participate.

By enrolling in this beta program, called the "PlayStation Beta Program," players can express their interest in accessing game tests for the PS5 console and PC, as well as new console features, PlayStation app functionalities, and improvements to the user experience on PlayStation.com. The great advantage of this new system is that players only need to register once to show interest in beta tests, unlike previous PS5 models that required individual registrations and access codes.

Enrollment in the beta program should be available starting today, although some users have reported issues with the access page, which is currently not operational. If immediate access is not possible, it is recommended to return later to check availability in the respective region.

It is important to note that registering for this program does not guarantee selection to participate in a beta, as Shuman clarifies.
