Sony grants additional days to PS Plus members after the major PSN outage.
If you have PS Plus, you will be able to enjoy an additional five days of service.
Sony has decided to grant five additional days of service to PlayStation Plus subscribers following the recent interruption of the PlayStation Network (PSN), which ended yesterday. This announcement was made from the official Ask PlayStation support account on the platform X, where the company stated that network services had already recovered from an operational issue. Additionally, they apologized for any inconvenience caused and thanked the community for their patience.
The interruption lasted about a day and began to be felt on Friday at 6 PM ET. Sony communicated that the restoration of service was completed just before 7 PM ET on Saturday. During these issues, many players experienced difficulties accessing their accounts, visiting the PlayStation Store, or starting games. For example, one contributor was unable to log into Fortnite or access their trophies, although they managed to play their digital copy of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth without any problems.
