Sony begins to offer compensation for PS Plus following the recent PSN outage.
Members have automatically received an additional five days of PS Plus added to their accounts.
PlayStation Plus subscribers are receiving compensation following the PSN service interruption that occurred last month. In February, the PlayStation network experienced an outage that lasted nearly 24 hours, during which users were unable to play online. After resolving the issue, Sony communicated that it was an "operational issue" with network services and promised that all affected PlayStation Plus members would automatically receive an additional five days of service at no cost.
As of March 4, this compensation has begun to be implemented. According to reports, the extra five days have been added to the expiration date of users' last PS Plus Premium payment, which means other subscribers should start noticing the same on their accounts.
To verify if you have received this free compensation, you need to log into the PS store and go to the "Subscription Management" tab. There, you will be able to see the date of your next payment; if it appears five days later than your last transaction, that means the compensation has been added correctly.
In addition, the list of games available for March 2025 has already been revealed, including titles such as Sonic Colors: Ultimate, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, and the highly anticipated Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Members will be able to claim these games from today until March 31, 2025.
