PDP's Riffmaster Guitar Controller Receives an Unusual $20 Discount.

Recently, Fortnite Festival, a musical mode of the game similar to Rock Band, introduced local multiplayer mode on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. This new feature allows players to enjoy with three friends on the same screen, evoking nostalgia from 2007, especially when using a peripheral that brings back memories like the PDP Riffmaster, now available on Amazon, Best Buy, and PDP at a reduced price of $109.99.
The Riffmaster, a wireless gamepad, allows users to play along with real songs in both Rock Band 4 (which is no longer available) and Fortnite Festival, providing a similar experience to the old controllers. Although it has been almost a decade since Mad Catz released its last Stratocaster-style gamepad, the Riffmaster includes modern features such as USB-C charging and a 3.5mm audio input, as well as an analog stick on the back of the neck for easier navigation.
Following the style of RB4, the Riffmaster features five color-coded buttons on the top of the neck and another set on the bottom, which can be used to play notes as they appear on screen. It also includes a strummer and a tremolo arm that recreate the classic Rock Band experience, allowing for vibrato on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC via a USB dongle.
Additionally, the PDP Riffmaster serves as an alternative to Harmonix’s official guitars for Rock Band 4 and is compatible with PS4 and PS5 as well as other games, including Fortnite Festival. It offers a rechargeable battery lasting 36 hours, built-in volume control, an analog stick, and a foldable neck design.
Regarding promotions, Amazon has its Fire TV Stick 4K on sale for $29.99, a $20 discount, ideal for those looking for an affordable option to watch Super Bowl LIX. Although it doesn’t match the Max model in features, it still offers Wi-Fi 6 support and HDR for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10 Plus.
Moreover, the PlayStation version of the Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition is at a historic low price of $39.99, a $35 reduction, until February 29. This remaster includes the first six titles of the series with improved pixel graphics and new orchestral scores. Finally, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, a laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and 16GB of RAM, is offered at $899.99, a significant $500 discount and an excellent choice highlighting its overall performance and 120Hz LCD display.
