Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater might be released in August, according to a new leak.

It seems that Plus Snake will face Monkey again.

A new trailer that appeared on the PlayStation Store has apparently revealed the release date of Metal Gear Solid: Delta Snake Eater accidentally. According to this trailer, the game is set to launch on August 28, 2025. Additionally, it seems to confirm the return of the popular minigame Snake vs Monkey, where Solid Snake faces off against the monkeys from the Ape Escape series.

Users on the gaming forum Resetera noticed the premature posting of the trailer, which showcases new segments from the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake. The visuals look stunning, featuring key combat scenes and a visually captivating world.

At an earlier event, producer Noriaki Okamura spoke about this minigame. When asked if it would be returning, he replied through a translator that Konami was “in the process of evaluating what to do about it,” suggesting that he couldn't provide specific details at that time but encouraged fans to “stay tuned for any future information.”

The trailer concludes by displaying the mentioned release date. However, this information should be taken with caution, as it has not been officially confirmed. It is likely that the trailer was prepared to be released alongside a rumored State of Play presentation this month. For now, we will just have to wait for more news. Konami has previously indicated that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available in 2025 for both PlayStation 5 and PC.
