Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for free in the Epic Games Store.
The Epic Games Store has updated its weekly selection of games. One of the options available this time is the fun Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
This Thursday, Epic Games has released new PC games that users can acquire for free. Among this week's options is a standout title: Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, available at no cost until 11 AM on December 12. This game is undoubtedly the best Lego game I have tried and probably the best related to Star Wars as well.
You don't need to start with The Phantom Menace, especially if that name still brings you discomfort after 25 years, as the game allows you to experience the stories from all nine main Star Wars films. Moreover, it features Lego's trademark humor, offering clever and often funny twists on iconic moments from cinema. As expected, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is filled with nods and hidden surprises. Its visual presentation is stunning, contributing to its status as one of my favorite games in 2022.
However, this title is not without its flaws. Reports have emerged about the pressure faced by the developers at TT Games, who were compelled to work overtime to finish the project, casting a shadow over the game. Additionally, the collection elements can become tedious if your goal is to achieve 100% completion. Despite this, it potentially offers hours of family fun, and best of all, it can be enjoyed at no cost.
Furthermore, this week, users of the Epic Games Store can also get another free title: Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop. I hope it's an entertaining game for those who explore it, although I won't have the opportunity to find out.
