Larger than your Kindle: Samsung's new color e-paper display is the largest ever created, and even a small smartphone can power it.

The 75-inch ePaper panel from Samsung operates at a power consumption of 0.00W when displaying static images.

Samsung has unveiled its largest ePaper display in the world at ISE 2025, featuring a size of 75 inches and a 5K resolution of 5,120 x 2,880 pixels. This new 16:9 display is designed to enhance the visibility of advertising and public information boards, capitalizing on the growing popularity of E-Ink screens, which have seen an increase in production and cost efficiency in recent years.

Among the features of the new model is its operability under Samsung's Tizen system and the inclusion of 8GB of internal storage. To facilitate remote management, the company also launched a dedicated mobile app that allows users to control the display, schedule content, and manage power cycles from mobile devices. Additionally, its VXT (Visual eXperience Transformation) technology optimizes the visibility and accuracy of displayed content.

In terms of connectivity, the display offers options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as a rechargeable 5000 mAh battery that can be charged through two USB-C ports, which also allow for data transfer to internal storage. Unlike other devices aimed at video viewing, Samsung's color ePaper screen focuses on replacing traditional printed communications like posters and menus, displaying static content.

This innovative display stands out not only for its energy efficiency, operating at an incredible 0.00W during viewing, but also for being made with over 50% recycled plastics, and its packaging is entirely paper, aligning with the brand's commitment to sustainability. According to Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, it is essential to address the demand for energy efficiency in the commercial display market while satisfying the public's desire for immersive experiences.

Thus, Samsung continues to innovate in the sector, offering transformative commercial solutions while driving new markets.
