"Is Your Mind Cloudy? This App Could Improve Your Mental Skills."
Homescreen Heroes: Elevate offers mental training games that adapt to the goals you want to achieve.
I remember when I was a child, my uncles and aunts turned 40, and the celebrations were grand, something I had never witnessed before. At that time, I used to think, "Wow, how old!" I apologize for that youthful attitude, especially to those who have already left that age behind. Now, after a few years, I’ve reached that same stage, and it feels as if it has arrived unexpectedly. I have raised three children, which has made me feel like I have aged faster, although I do not consider myself “old.” However, I am aware that I need to keep my mind active so that it doesn’t slow down over time.
For this reason, I enjoy brain training games. I used to use Impulse, but recently I have started trying Elevate, and I must say that I am enjoying it a lot. This app offers games in various categories, such as math, memory, and conversation, but my interest as a writer is particularly focused on the vocabulary and writing games. I am always looking to improve my skills, and Elevate has been a great tool for that.
The app provides each user with a personalized learning program that adapts over time to maximize results. This means that every minute you spend on the app brings you closer to your goals.
After downloading it and answering a few questions, I was ready to start playing. I began with a set of nine writing games, including Commas, Detail, and Expression, but I loved Brevity, as it has helped me become more concise. All the games are simple and easy to use, with tips that guide you while you play. I have learned new words and improved my punctuation usage. It’s never too late to learn!
Over time, I wanted to expand my horizons and explored the math and memory games. These are also visually appealing and easy to manage. I believe this simplicity is what makes the app so attractive and successful. The novelty lasted for a while, but as I committed myself again to keeping my mind active, I didn’t see the number of over 40 games as a limitation.
Tracking performance is a crucial aspect of brain training. I find it important to know how I progress over time, especially to keep my motivation high. Fortunately, Elevate offers simple graphs related to competency scores, ranging from 0 to 5000, based on my performance, consistent training, and variety of games. The more effort I put in, the faster I transition from beginner to intermediate and eventually to expert. I look forward to being able to call myself a master!
Additionally, it’s helpful to visualize my performance statistics over the game icons, which makes it easier to identify areas I need to focus on more. The Profile section also provides details about my progress in various achievements, such as being a streak specialist or a training enthusiast. I recognize that these are somewhat arbitrary parameters, but who doesn’t enjoy a little motivation?
The Elevate app is available on iOS and Android platforms in the United States and the United Kingdom. You can try it without commitment through a 7-day free trial, allowing you to access all the games and features and giving you a good amount of time to explore it thoroughly. If you decide to continue using it, you will have the option to subscribe to a monthly or annual plan. Some users may also consider a lifetime plan, but most will prefer to ensure that they are truly committed before making that purchase.
