I’m eager to try the world’s first 8TB PCIe 5.0 SSD, and I’m sure it won’t be too expensive.

It features LDPC technology in 4K and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring.

TEAMGROUP has revealed its new T-FORCE GE PRO, an 8TB PCIe 5.0 SSD that is set to be the first of its kind to hit the market. While other brands such as Samsung, XPG, and Crucial have introduced similar models, none have been available for purchase until now.

This device offers impressive read and write speeds, reaching 13,500 MB/s and 11,000 MB/s respectively. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of gamers, content creators, and professionals who require ultra-fast storage solutions.

To manage the heat generated during operation, the T-FORCE GE PRO features a patented graphene heat sink that enhances thermal dissipation, along with a T-FORCE AirFlow1 SSD cooler with active cooling that ensures sustained performance during demanding tasks. The SSD is also equipped with advanced error correction technology, 4K LDPC (Low-Density Parity Check), which increases data transfer accuracy and prolongs its lifespan.

Users will be able to monitor the health and performance of the SSD thanks to the S.M.A.R.T. monitoring software provided by TEAMGROUP. The company also assures that the manufacturing process of the GE PRO complies with RoHS environmental standards and that all packaging materials are recyclable.

Despite its advanced features, the GE PRO is expected to be reasonably priced, as it may not outperform the top PCIe 5.0 SSDs in performance tests, but it should be efficient enough for most users.
