Guide to Completing the April Fools Missions in Fortnite.

Fortnite has released new missions to commemorate this year's April Fool's festivities, and here's how to complete them.

Fortnite fans are excited about the ongoing release of new content from Epic Games in 2025, which keeps players engaged with a relentless series of themed missions and challenges. This popular battle royale game has been praised for its innovative updates, blending seasonal events, collaborations, and limited-time objectives to keep its community alive. From facing iconic characters to exploring new landmarks on the map, these experiences offer players the chance to earn experience and unlock rare rewards.

With the arrival of spring, patch v34.21 introduces even more action, including a notable collaboration with Mortal Kombat, where Scorpion appears as a boss on the island. However, the most talked-about theme today, April 1, 2025, is the creative missions commemorating April Fool's Day. Known for their quirky and fun tone, these challenges allow players to enjoy a touch of mischief in addition to their usual routine.

The April Fool's Day missions are new challenges that add to the regular list and are accessible from the mission tab within the game. They can be completed in the Zero Build or Battle Royale modes of the current Chapter 6, Season 2. Completing all of them offers a total of 46,000 XP. Below are the missions and their rewards:

  • Place anything but first (1): 2,000 XP - Build a structure upon landing on the island.
  • Break chests instead of searching for them (3): 2,000 XP - Hit and destroy 3 chests.
  • Touch the grass (60): 2,000 XP - Remain on grass terrain for 60 seconds.
  • Drive safely on the road for 100 meters (100): 2,000 XP - Drive without crashing for 100 meters.
  • Land here and there (2): 2,000 XP - Land on the island and then redeploy the glider to land again on the island using a launcher.
  • Find the coolest player on the island (1): 2,000 XP - Find a bathroom and stand in front of a mirror.
  • Catch the item that is not a fish (1): 2,000 XP - Fish at a fishing spot and catch anything that is not a fish.
  • Survive a few seconds before picking up weapons in a match (120): 2,000 XP - Survive two minutes on the island without a weapon in your inventory.

These missions will be available only until tomorrow, April 2, 2025, at 6 a.m. EST, so it is essential to complete them as soon as possible to earn the free experience and progress faster in the game.

Additionally, Fortnite continues to revolutionize the gaming world by introducing skins from the Icon series, merging the game universe with real-world stardom by featuring celebrities and content creators on its colorful stage. The series, which began in 2019, has included iconic figures such as Ariana Grande and esports legends like Ninja. For streamers, these skins are not just aesthetic items but a recognition of their influence within the Fortnite community.

Regarding gameplay, Chapter 6, Season 2 has seen an evolution in the weapon meta, centered around a "lawless" theme. New additions like the Pump and Dump duality, a hybrid between shotgun and submachine gun, are generating great anticipation among players, who are eager to adapt and experience its impact on gameplay strategies.

Moreover, the in-game mission events have been crucial to Fortnite's ongoing success. Events like the Spring Raid, which began on March 14, 2025, have attracted players eager to collaborate and earn rewards, including iconic characters from animated series like Dupli-Kate, which adds excitement to the game dynamics.
