Google's Agentspace plans to use artificial intelligence to make it easier for you to access all the job-related information you need.
AI-powered search agent for your company.
Google Cloud has introduced Agentspace, a new multimodal search platform designed to facilitate the localization of specific information in the workplace. This launch promises to make finding answers, even to complex questions, much more accessible.
Agentspace combines the intelligence of Gemini with Google’s search capability and the company's own data, aiming to provide the best possible answer with a single command. According to the company, this multimodal search agent is presented as a centralized source of business truth, personalized with the organization's branding.
One of the standout features of Agentspace is its ability to suggest next steps after a question is asked and to execute actions based on specific company information, thereby optimizing workplace productivity. Additionally, it allows customization of its appearance to fit the organization’s identity and includes integrated translation software, making it easier for employees in different countries to use.
Agentspace has the capability to work with both unstructured data, such as documents and emails, as well as structured data, like tables. It also includes prebuilt connectors that allow integration with a variety of third-party tools and services, including Confluence, Google Drive, Jira, Microsoft SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
As companies seek to expand their capabilities, Agentspace will also serve as a central point for sharing access to various customized AI agents. Employees will be able to create and modify their own agents using a low-code visual tool.
At this time, Agentspace is available in early access, with a wider rollout scheduled for 2025.
