Google reveals the dates for the I/O 2025 event.
Only a couple of months are left.
Google has confirmed that its next I/O developer event will take place on May 20 and 21. According to published information, it will be accessible to everyone online, with conferences and sessions streamed live. Additionally, there will be an in-person component at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, located in Mountain View, California.
The announcement came after the company unveiled a puzzle game to help reveal the event date, a tradition it maintains when announcing I/O dates. This year, the event will coincide with Microsoft's Build conference, scheduled for May 19 to 22.
In the previous edition of Google I/O, which began on May 14, 2024, numerous presentations were made. Among the announcements were new features and models of Gemini AI, the Project Astra AI assistant, the generative video model Veo, as well as a significant AI-focused overhaul for Google Search. Similar to 2023, where many AI-related topics were discussed, products like the Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel 7A were also launched.
