Almost two years ago, Framework unveiled one of the most innovative laptops at a presentation in San Francisco, as well as announcing an AMD update for its Intel-based modular devices. At an event scheduled for February 25, the company has promised "an even bigger set of announcements" and will showcase "everything we've been working on over the last two years."

This leaves several possibilities open. Framework raised $18 million last April to extend its offerings beyond laptops, although it is unclear whether this will be part of the announcement, as a spokesperson declined to comment on it. Instead of providing more details, the company has opted to surprise its audience with some pictograms as clues. Among the images is a "downward dog with a beach ball," something related to Flash, and another design that could refer to a LAN party focused on a gamepad, accompanied by snacks similar to Cheetos.

Speculating about the future product, it is suggested that the first pictogram represents a convertible Chromebook with a hinge that allows for 360 degrees of rotation, a concept already popularized by Lenovo's "Yoga" laptops.

Additionally, some relevant details have been announced: pre-orders will open for at least one new product that day, which may interest those looking for electronics that are repairable, upgradable, and durable. Furthermore, the company expressed its intention to bring its mission and product philosophy to more parts of the world "one category at a time." Framework fans in the San Francisco Bay Area will have the opportunity to attend the event in person, while a countdown timer has been set up on their event page, which also includes an option to receive notifications. The event will include a live stream starting at 10:30 a.m. PT / 1:30 p.m. ET.
