Google Cloud has ambitious plans to simplify the implementation of artificial intelligence agents in businesses.
A series of agent-focused launches and updates draws attention at Cloud Next 25.
Google Cloud has intensified its efforts in implementing artificial intelligence agents, becoming one of the leading companies in this field. During its Google Cloud Next 25 event, the company presented various enhancements to its Agentspace platform, aimed at facilitating the search and adoption of agents.
The expansion of Google Agentspace, which was initially launched in December 2024, focuses on simplifying the creation and deployment of AI agents. One of the most significant enhancements is the integration of search and analysis tools in Agentspace directly from the Google Chrome search bar. The multimodal search capabilities help accurately identify the necessary data within a company and provide customers with quick and effective responses.
Search results encompass content from both the web and the most commonly used applications and software in businesses, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and applications like Jira, Salesforce, and ServiceNow. Additionally, a new Agent Gallery has been launched, allowing employees to quickly find and deploy new agents, as well as create their own agents using the no-code design platform called Agent Designer. New proprietary agents have also been introduced, such as the Idea Generation agent and the Deep Research agent.
To ensure the effective coexistence of all these new agents, Google Cloud has introduced a new interoperability protocol known as Agent2Agent. This protocol allows AI agents to communicate with one another, securely exchange information, and coordinate actions across various business platforms. The company has partnered with over 50 collaborators for the launch, including industry giants like Salesforce, PayPal, and Atlassian.
Finally, to harness the power of cutting-edge hardware, Google Cloud has partnered with Nvidia to bring its AI models to Nvidia Blackwell HGX and DGX platforms, as well as Nvidia Confidential Computing. Sachin Gupta, Vice President and General Manager of Infrastructure and Solutions at Google Cloud, emphasized that this collaboration enables businesses to unlock the full potential of AI, ensuring secure innovation without compromising performance or operational ease.
