Fortnite will return to iPhones in Brazil.
The Epic Games store will also launch in Brazil.
Epic Games plans to launch its mobile game store and the popular Fortnite for iOS users in Brazil starting in July, according to a recent publication. This announcement comes after a court ruling in Brazil that requires Apple to allow the installation of third-party apps within 90 days.
Last year, Epic had relaunched Fortnite and also introduced its Epic Games Store on iOS within the European Union in August, after Apple was compelled to accept third-party app stores in that region to comply with the Digital Markets Act.
The judge who made this decision in Brazil argued that "Apple has already complied with similar obligations in other countries without showing a significant impact or irreparable harm to its economic model." However, Apple plans to appeal this decision.
In September, Epic launched its Epic Games Store on the iPad in the EU. Additionally, Fortnite and the Epic Games Store are also available globally on Android.
