Fitbit's Sleep Lab Leaked: New Feature Could Provide Personalized Bedtime Recommendations.

A deeper analysis of your dream.

A new feature has been leaked that could come to Fitbit devices, called Sleep Lab, which promises to revolutionize the way users manage and monitor their sleep. Although the current Fitbit models already offer various metrics for sleep tracking, this new function could provide personalized recommendations for the ideal time to go to bed and wake up, based on the responses provided in surveys.

According to recent reports, a new experiment related to "sleep need" has been found in the code of the latest Fitbit app for Android, available on the Google Play Store. Sleep Lab is based on three fundamental aspects: users will respond to a series of questions at different times of the day, and using those responses along with collected sleep data, Fitbit will calculate how many hours of sleep are needed each night. With this information, personalized recommendations for bedtime and wake-up time will be offered.

Surveys will be carried out in the morning, at noon, and in the evening, providing a reminder one hour before the scheduled bedtime. Additionally, it will include metrics on sleep debt and options to adjust alarms, ensuring users stay on schedule. To obtain accurate data on sleep need and sleep debt, it will be necessary to use the device for five days.

This advancement could position Fitbit as one of the best sleep trackers available, without the need for smart rings or devices specifically dedicated to sleep tracking. Although this feature is not yet active, its presence in the app code suggests that its launch could be imminent.
