The powerful Strava artificial intelligence is now available: Athlete Intelligence launches in beta version.
Athlete Intelligence has arrived.
Strava has announced the introduction of AI-powered training summaries, now available in beta for its paid subscribers. This new approach, known as Athlete Intelligence, was unveiled earlier this year and focuses on providing "personalized insights based on activity data," making it easier to understand performance metrics and data collected from mobile phones or smartwatches.
The platform aims to "reduce friction in the user's active journey" through the analysis and interpretation of training data, presenting this information clearly and tailored to each user. Athlete Intelligence is designed to be useful at all levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. After several months in testing, Strava has now released this feature as a public beta for its subscribers.
Among the advantages of Athlete Intelligence is its ability to identify trends and offer an overview of user progress, particularly over a 30-day period. It also helps to understand performance aspects such as pace and heart rate zones to encourage improvements. Additionally, it provides personalized feedback and the opportunity to celebrate performance milestones, contributing to sustained motivation.
Strava has refined this functionality in recent months, enhancing its analytical capabilities and offering deeper insights into factors such as pace, heart rate, elevation, power, and relative effort. Early users have found this new tool useful and unobtrusive, appreciating the practical advice it provides.
Subscribers can access Athlete Intelligence immediately after logging an activity, such as running, cycling, walking, or hiking, simply by tapping on the activity and reviewing the obtained data. There is an option to opt-out of the beta at any time by pressing the corresponding button in the app's feedback section. This beta is available in 14 languages, and Strava has indicated that more updates and improvements are on the way.
