Bigger screens are en route to the Apple Watch, as shared by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. In his latest Power On newsletter, Gurman disclosed that the upcoming Series 10 Apple Watch models will feature larger displays compared to previous versions, with one of them possibly reaching a size similar to that of the Apple Watch Ultra. Additionally, the Apple Watch Series 10 is anticipated to be thinner, as Gurman had mentioned before.

Apple has been focusing on enhancing the health capabilities of its smartwatches, but it appears that some of these advancements might not be prepared for the next launch. This includes functionalities for monitoring high blood pressure and detecting sleep apnea. Gurman noted that Apple has encountered significant challenges in developing the necessary technology for these features. For instance, monitoring sleep apnea would require blood oxygen saturation measurements, which Apple is currently unable to provide due to a patent dispute.

Furthermore, there are expectations of a new iteration of the Apple Watch SE this year, featuring a plastic casing instead of aluminum. Gurman suggested that this change could lead to a slight decrease in the initial price. Both the Apple Watch Series 10 models and the forthcoming Apple Watch Ultra will be equipped with new chips to enhance their performance.
