Y Combinator achieved an unexpected victory with the arrival of Larry Page for a talk.

Y Combinator is at most two degrees of separation from almost anyone in the tech world, even Larry Page.

Y Combinator, with its mentors, alumni, and its private messaging platform Bookface, is only a couple of degrees away from almost anyone in the tech realm, including Larry Page, one of the founders of Google. Recently, Page participated in an event organized by YC, where he shared anecdotes about the early days of Google. Despite being one of the most recognizable tech moguls, he has become relatively less visible since stepping down as CEO in 2019. This shift occurred after he faced a vocal cord injury that led him to step away from the media spotlight.

One of his last notable public appearances took place in 2016, when he met with key figures from the tech industry at Trump Tower following Donald Trump's electoral victory. Page's participation in the Y Combinator event highlights the impact of the program on the vibrant artificial intelligence startup scene in San Francisco. Currently, his most recognized project is his flying electric vehicle company, Pivotal, which launched its Helix model to the market a year ago.
