Today you will have another chance to pre-order the retro-themed PS5.

The PS5 consoles and accessories commemorating Sony's 30th anniversary are once again available for pre-order. This retro-designed hardware sold out quickly during its initial release.

Sony's PS5 console fans will have another chance to get the 30th Anniversary commemorative version after the first pre-order period quickly sold out on September 26, causing frustration among fans. A notice has been posted on Sony's product site indicating that a new round of orders will take place on Tuesday, October 29 at 12 PM ET.

This limited edition features a retro design that recalls the original PlayStation released in Japan in 1994, with a sleek gray color palette highlighting the iconic logo of the old console. The message on the product page encourages interested buyers to check back on October 29 at 9 AM PDT, although this notice only appears on the PS5 Slim Bundle pages, which is priced at $500, and the $80 DualSense controller. In contrast, no information is available about the retro PS5 Pro bundle or the PlayStation Portal product.

If the Slim Bundle is indeed the only option available, this will be one of the last opportunities to obtain the more affordable console. This bundle includes the digital version of the PS5 Slim (without a disc drive), a standard DualSense controller that also features the special theme, a retro cable connector, PlayStation-shaped cable ties, and a vertical stand. Additionally, it will come with extras such as a sticker, a poster, and a PlayStation paperweight, items that are speculated to sell for high prices in the secondary market after the bundle's release on November 21.
