This 240W USB-C cable features a connector that rotates and bends.

We must strive to be as flexible as this cable.

Sanwa Supply, a Japanese accessory manufacturer, has launched a new 240W USB-C cable featuring a flexible design, which could help prevent damage. This cable has USB-C connectors on both ends that can rotate 360 degrees and bend sideways up to 180 degrees, reducing strain on the ports and minimizing the risk of internal breakage in the cables.

Although the company offers many of its peripherals through Amazon in the United States and Japan, this new flexible cable is not yet available on those platforms. For now, the only option is to import it directly from Sanwa Supply's online store, where it is offered in two lengths: one meter for ¥2,580 (approximately $16.53) or 1.8 meters for ¥2,780 (around $17.80).

This flexible cable could be useful in situations where other USB-C cables do not fit properly. While there are currently few devices capable of charging at 240W speeds, Sanwa's new cable might be a way to future-proof your charging setup. However, it is important to note that data transfers with this cable are limited to USB 2.0 speeds, reaching a maximum of 480 Mbps, which is significantly slower than the 40 Gbps offered by other 240W USB-C cables.

This product is not the ideal choice for those who need to transfer large volumes of data frequently, but if your USB ports are located in tight spaces or you seek greater freedom of movement while using your connected smartphone, this cable could be the right solution.
