The tech millionaire Bryan Johnson reveals his anti-aging routine: last meal at 11 a.m.
He mentioned that fasting and taking early measures are key to maintaining youth and preventing hair loss.
Bryan Johnson, a 47-year-old entrepreneur and investor, is known for his rejuvenation methods and advice on slowing down aging. In a recent podcast talk, he shared his approach to an anti-aging diet and emphasized the importance of recognizing individual dietary needs before making any changes to one's diet.
Johnson has invested over three million dollars in aging-related research, and in this podcast, he discussed his eating structure. He revealed that he consumes all his food within a six-hour window, finishing his last meal by 11 a.m. and then fasting until bedtime. According to Johnson, this six-hour eating method followed by 18 hours of fasting promotes better sleep quality.
Regarding his diet, he focuses on foods like lentils, vegetables, berries, nuts, seeds, and extra virgin olive oil, while avoiding sugar, processed and fried foods, additives, and ingredients that are unfamiliar or highly processed. Johnson emphasizes that getting good sleep, exercising, and maintaining an adequate diet are the three fundamental pillars for achieving good physical condition and looking younger. He stated that quality rest is crucial for accelerating the process of reverse rejuvenation. He also highlighted that strength training or up to 30 minutes of daily exercise can have a lasting impact on overall health and vitality.
In his routine, he also consumes 120 grams of protein per day, which he considers sufficient for muscle growth, cardiovascular health, and metabolism. Additionally, he hydrates with approximately three liters of water daily, though he stops drinking after 4 p.m. to avoid sleep disruptions from having to get up at night.
Johnson, who started losing hair and going gray in his late 20s, has shared a thread on X detailing his comprehensive regimen for preventing hair loss and promoting healthy growth, which includes nutritional, topical, and light treatments. Despite expectations of losing his hair at this age, he attributes his success to these methods and advises men to take action early, stressing that it is possible to maintain a full head of hair in their 40s and beyond.
