The specifications of the Intel Arc Battlemage GPU leak as the company anticipates major graphics news this week.
Intel announced via X this weekend that it will hold an Arc event on December 3rd. Meanwhile, the specifications of its alleged Battlemage GPUs have leaked online.
Intel is set to make an announcement on December 3 regarding its Arc GPUs, and several recent leaks provide hints about what will be presented. In a message posted on X this weekend, the company mentioned that it has "big graphics news" on the way and, in a cryptic statement, added that it is "moving from A to B."
According to information from VideoCardz, a couple of Battlemage series desktop GPUs are expected to be introduced during this event: the Arc B580 and the Arc B570, which will be released on December 12. According to the same source, the B580 will feature 20 Xe2 cores, a GPU clock of 2.8GHz, and 12GB of VRAM. On the other hand, the B570 is said to have 18 Xe2 cores, a clock speed of 2.6GHz, and 10GB of memory. The B580 will have a 192-bit memory bus, compared to the 160 bits of the B570, according to the shared specifications.
However, these details have not yet been confirmed, nor have the prices of the mentioned GPUs. A leaker on X, known as @momomo_us, posted listings earlier this week suggesting that the Limited Edition version of the B580 will cost around $250. Full details will be available soon. The Intel event will be streamed live on YouTube on Tuesday, December 3, at 9 AM ET (6 AM PT).
