The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE could have a release date and solve the screen fold issue.

A new promotional video previews an announcement for October.

Samsung has shared a new teaser video hinting at the imminent launch of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. In the video, a person is seen walking down a hallway with an envelope, which, upon opening, reveals a tablet-sized device displaying the words "You're invited" on the screen. This device is believed to be the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE, previously known as the Galaxy Z Fold Slim.

However, there is some confusion surrounding the presentation dates. While the press release associated with the video mentions a launch on October 21, the video itself suggests that the event will be on October 24. These could be consecutive dates for the reveal and subsequent launch, but it cannot be confirmed.

The main attraction of the Z Fold 6 SE seems to be its design, as early speculations describe it as a slimmer version of the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 6 model. Thickness estimates for its folded version range from 7.7 mm to 11.5 mm, and recent rumors indicate a thickness of 4.9 mm when unfolded. It has also been mentioned that this model will feature a less noticeable crease in the center of the internal screen, which could address one of the major criticisms of Samsung's Z Fold devices.

Additionally, other rumors suggest that the Z Fold 6 SE could have larger displays compared to its predecessor; a Korean media outlet has reported that the external screen could be 6.5 inches and the internal one could be 8 inches. Since the Galaxy Z Fold 6 was launched on July 24, it is considered somewhat premature for a full successor.

In the teaser, the envelope may symbolize the device's thinness, while the message "You're invited" seems to suggest an exclusivity characteristic of a 'special edition.' This 11-second teaser was uploaded to Samsung's Korean YouTube channel but is not available on the equivalent U.S. or U.K. versions, reinforcing the idea that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE might be exclusive to Korea and China at its launch.

For now, much of this information is based on rumors, but it seems we won't have to wait long for official details. While it is unlikely that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE will be launched globally, it appears poised to become one of the best foldable phones at its release.
