The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will maintain this feature from the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

According to new information from supply chain analyst Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Flip FE is said to feature the same display as the Z Flip 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to debut sometime next year, likely towards the end of the second quarter of 2025. So far, little information is available about this budget foldable phone, other than that it is set to use the Exynos 2500 chip. A new rumor indicates that it will keep the same display as the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Ross Young, a supply chain analyst, responded to a comment on X, stating that the Z Flip FE will feature the same panel as the Z Flip 6, known for its 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, 2640 x 1080 resolution, variable refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits.

Unfortunately, this could indicate that the outer display will not undergo any changes. The Z Flip 6 did not present improvements in its cover display compared to its predecessor, and it seems that the Z Flip FE will follow the same path, despite the fact that the competitor, Motorola Razr Plus, offers a front display with outstanding specifications at a slightly lower price. While the internal panel is a good choice for an affordable phone, the external displays could benefit from upgrades, even if that means a slight price increase.

As the Galaxy Z Flip FE seems to be more than six months away, information remains scarce. However, it is likely that more details about this device will be revealed in the coming months. This year, production issues have already affected Samsung's output; the Exynos 2500 was expected to debut with the Galaxy S25 series, but supply chain setbacks complicated that possibility, leading the company to opt for the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Therefore, the Galaxy Z Flip FE may also incorporate a Snapdragon chip if production issues are not resolved in time for mass manufacturing.
