The Samsung Frame Pro TV features the company's high-end Neo QLED panel.
Samsung is expanding its Frame television range with the new Frame Pro, a model that features its high-end Neo QLED panel.
Samsung has introduced its Frame television series as an excellent option for seamlessly integrating large screens into the home. During CES 2025, the company announced the addition of the Frame Pro, an enhanced version that features Samsung's high-end Neo QLED panel. However, it has not yet been clarified whether this new version will come equipped with a 4K or 8K panel, a factor that will significantly impact the final price of the Frame Pro, which has yet to be revealed, along with its release date, following the tradition of the event.
In addition to the panel, the Frame Pro incorporates Samsung's Wireless One Connect box, which allows content to be streamed from consoles or streaming devices to the television without the need for direct physical connections. This means a cleaner, cable-free setup can be achieved, which is particularly advantageous for a television like the Frame.
This new model is also powered by the NQ4 Gen3 artificial intelligence processor, an upgrade from the second generation used in some previous models. While not all details about its operation are known yet, it is reasonable to expect an annual upgrade given the current demand for pixels in modern televisions. The use of the NQ4 processor could suggest that it is a 4K panel rather than 8K, as the Neo QLED 8K QN990F television uses the NQ8 processor, which might indicate a correlation between the numbers and the television's resolution.
For those unfamiliar with the Frame, this television is designed to be wall-mounted, with a frame that resembles a work of art rather than an entertainment device. When turned off, it can display an image from a collection of art curated by Samsung, and the screen features a matte finish with an anti-reflective coating that helps it look more like a painting.
Samsung has also organized a presentation at CES, where the Frame Pro and other new televisions from the brand will be unveiled, and more details about the Frame Pro are expected to be shared soon.
