The Notion email product is close to its launch.

It seems that Notion is about to launch its email product, known as Notion Mail, according to various sources. Earlier this year, the company acquired Skiff, a tool that could be related to this new service.

Notion appears to be on the verge of launching its new email product, known as Notion Mail, according to various reports. Earlier this year, the company acquired Skiff, a privacy-focused email service. Skiff announced that it would offer a 12-month period for its users to have the necessary time to migrate to another email service. For months, users on Reddit have shared hints about Notion's work on its email product, discovering, for example, the URL for the development environment and, in some cases, the product's login page.

When trying to access mail.notion.so in a browser, the title "Notion Mail" briefly appeared alongside a logo, although it quickly redirected to Notion's main login page. On mobile devices, the same URL directs to notion.so/product/email, where an error message indicates that the page cannot be found. Despite reaching out to Notion for comments, the company did not respond at the time of inquiry.

The company seems to be expanding its productivity suite beyond its primary knowledge management platform. This year, Notion also launched a standalone calendar app as a result of its acquisition of Cron. The addition of a secure email service could be another strategy to attract more users and better compete with productivity suites from large tech companies, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Interestingly, Notion has an event scheduled for today where it is expected to announce new products.
