The new Samsung phone will be available for purchase on October 21.

Samsung has revealed that it will launch a new product from the Galaxy line on October 21.

Samsung has announced on its website in Korea that on October 21, it will unveil "a new Galaxy with another innovation." The company also released a teaser video on YouTube, where a foldable device can be seen inside an envelope, generating excitement about the upcoming launch.

The new Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is expected to be slimmer than its standard version, with reports suggesting a thickness of 10.6 mm when folded. The teaser video also hints at this change, showing a person sliding an envelope containing the phone underneath a door. This new model will feature an external display of 6.5 inches and an internal display of 8 inches, slightly larger than those of the previous version. Additionally, it is anticipated to have a less prominent crease, a main camera of 200 MP, and support for the S Pen.

Furthermore, Samsung has made the Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition available for sale, a special limited model with only 17,000 units that was intended solely for athletes of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Now, this device can be purchased on sites like eBay for the general public.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has sparked discussions about its competition in the foldable phone market. While it has an attractive design, there are alternatives that consumers may consider. For instance, some recommend opting for the Galaxy Z Flip 5, since the updates in the new model are not significant and it could be a more economical choice.

Lastly, the new Galaxy Watch 7 has faced criticism due to battery life issues, despite using the latest 3nm Exynos chipset. Users have reported excessive battery consumption, raising concerns about its performance.
