The new Qi2 charger from Zens is like plugging your phone directly into a power outlet.

What is convenience without a small risk of dropping your phone?

Currently, Qi2 chargers are widely available in various shapes and sizes, raising the question of why not develop one specifically for the European market, taking into account aspects like the design of plugs on kitchen countertops and the aesthetics of a range of olive oils.

Zens has introduced its new Wireless Charging Adapter, which could be the ideal solution for wireless charging. Similar to other Qi2 and MagSafe chargers, it has the ability to charge an iPhone at a power of up to 15W, but it differs by eliminating the traditional cable between the plug and the magnetic pad, connecting directly to the wall.

This charger, priced at €49.99, may prove limited if there isn’t an appropriate location for the plug, and there is a slight risk of the device falling if not handled carefully. For the moment, it is only available with plugs for the EU. Although Zens is not a pioneer in creating chargers of this kind, there has been little competition, as the few alternatives available come from lesser-known brands and do not offer the same charging speed.

The Dutch company is no stranger to developing unique and specific charging solutions, so it is not surprising that it has decided to explore this unusual approach. It is worth mentioning that the Wireless Charging Adapter is not completely wireless, as it also includes a USB-C port for charging a second device, which makes it a different option from the typical 2-in-1 charger.

The black charger is already available for purchase through Zens, and a white version will be available starting November 7th.
