The launch of the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro could be imminent and promises many features.
A more exclusive model is anticipated.
Recent leaks suggest that OnePlus may be preparing to launch the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro, along with an update to its OHealth app that would incorporate new health features. After giving the OnePlus Watch 2 a rating of 4.5 out of 5 in our review, we are eager to see what the next model has to offer.
Mentions of a more advanced model, identified as OnePlus Watch 3 Pro with model number WWE251, have been detected in the app accompanying the OnePlus and Oppo watches. This model would be distinct from the standard version of the OnePlus Watch 3, although the differences in features or price are currently unknown.
So far, there has been no Pro model in the OnePlus watch series, but considering that competitors like Apple and Samsung have premium versions of their products, the introduction of this option seems reasonable.
Regarding new health features, the OHealth app has revealed that it could incorporate an electrocardiogram (ECG) that facilitates the detection of abnormalities such as unusually high or low heart rates, atrial fibrillation, and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). A function to measure wrist temperature has also been mentioned, which could be useful for assessing the user's overall health. Additionally, a tool for a quick 60-second check-up has been identified, along with a new health tab in the app that will provide deeper and longer analyses based on data collected from the watch.
It's still unclear which models will receive these new features, but a significant software update is anticipated alongside the arrival of new hardware. According to recent leaks, the launch of the OnePlus Watch 3 and the OnePlus Watch 3 Pro could occur in the near future.
