The final season of the Suicide Squad game will arrive less than a year after its launch.

At least the offline mode is finally being incorporated.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in February, is about to begin its fourth and final season. Episode 7 of this season will be released on Tuesday, while Episode 8, scheduled for January 14, 2025, will mark the end of seasonal updates for this game, according to developers at Rocksteady.

Despite the release of the final content, the game will remain available to play online, as stated in the FAQs from WB Games. Additionally, an offline mode will be implemented, allowing players to enjoy the main story and all seasonal missions without the need for an internet connection, fulfilling a previous announcement, though a specific date beyond "2024" has not been provided.

The game has faced multiple challenges since its announcement. Initially, its release was intended for 2022, but it underwent several delays. Its debut was considered less than successful; in a review, it was noted that the game "hides its bold personality under a generic looter shooter concept." As a result of its market performance, Warner Bros. Discovery announced in May that it would incur losses of $200 million related to this title.
