The eye-catching Honor 300 surpasses this key feature of the Galaxy S24.
The attractive design of the Honor 300 will catch your attention immediately, but when you hold it, you'll realize it's one of the thinnest phones we've seen in a while.
The Honor 300 series has been unveiled in China and stands out for its striking design, featuring an unconventional camera module and an attention-grabbing rear panel. The new models in this series include the Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ultra, although an international release date has yet to be announced. In the past, Honor has marketed its numbered series outside of China, as was the case with the Honor 200 in the UK.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Honor 300 is its slimness, measuring just 6.97 mm, placing it among the thinnest smartphones on the market. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 has a thickness of 7.6 mm, and the Apple iPhone 16 reaches 7.8 mm. However, it is not the thinnest smartphone ever made, as there are devices from other brands that have measured less than 5 mm, such as the Vivo X5 Max from 2014, which was only 4.75 mm thick.
The Honor 300 Pro and Honor 300 Ultra models are thicker, measuring 8.2 mm in size and weighing 199 grams, but all share a distinctive camera module design that moves away from straight lines, offering a unique aesthetic. The Honor 300 Ultra features a textured leather back panel, while the Honor 300 and 300 Pro models showcase attractive colors with a glass finish.
In terms of features, the Honor 300 is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a 5,300 mAh battery with 100-watt fast charging, and a main camera of 50 megapixels accompanied by a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. Meanwhile, both the Honor 300 Pro and Honor 300 Ultra come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while maintaining the same battery and IP65 water and dust resistance rating as the Honor 300. The main and ultra-wide cameras appear to be identical across all three models, but the Honor 300 Pro includes a 50 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom, while the Honor 300 Ultra offers a 50 MP periscopic zoom with 3.8x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
All three models of the Honor 300 series are already available for purchase in China, with prices starting at approximately $470. It remains to be seen if Honor will launch these new models internationally.
