The CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, shares the AI tools he uses daily: "They have transformed my life."
It saves you hours of time every day.
Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, has recently shared his favorite artificial intelligence tool, which allows him to save time in his daily life. In an interview, he mentioned that he starts his day early, between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., checking his iPhone for new emails and sales updates. Over the years, Cook took the time to personally read every message, including customer feedback, which is a monumental task as he receives around 800 emails daily.
However, now at the age of 64, he has begun using Apple Intelligence, the company’s new AI tool, to streamline this process. With Apple Intelligence activated, the Mail app provides concise summaries of each email, simplifying the management of his inbox. Cook emphasized the importance of saving time in small moments, stating that this adds up significantly throughout the day, week, or month. Before Apple Intelligence was launched for iOS devices on October 28, he had already noticed a considerable improvement in his productivity and daily routines. “It has really changed my life,” he emphasized.
On his part, Mark Cuban, a well-known entrepreneur and investor, is also leveraging AI tools to increase his efficiency. He has opted for Gemini, Google’s generative artificial intelligence assistant, to manage his emails. Although he receives a large number of emails daily, many of which are repetitive, he has found that Gmail’s suggested replies provide a way to reduce the time he spends on routine responses. Cuban noted that he can now evaluate and send AI-generated replies in just 30 seconds instead of having to write them out completely.
By delegating routine email tasks to artificial intelligence, Cuban can focus on strategic initiatives, which enhances his effectiveness as a leader. He also revealed that AI has had a positive impact on his personal life, helping him oversee his children’s homework and correct spelling and grammar mistakes. This not only aids him as a parent but also ensures the academic integrity of his children by detecting potentially AI-generated content.
