The Best Robot Vacuums at CES 2025: Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, and Others
CES 2025 showcased a wide variety of robotic vacuums and mops, and five of them stood out for their advanced technologies and interesting innovations.
The CES fair is a standout event for those interested in the latest technological innovations, and each year there tends to be a type of product that captures the spotlight. In 2025, robot vacuums were the stars of the show. Although these devices have been around for several years, brands like Roborock, Dreame, and Narwhal have showcased innovations that enhance their efficiency and functionality. Numerous interviews were conducted with the teams behind these robots, and they were observed in action, with these five vacuums being our favorites from this year’s event. For more detailed impressions, a thorough analysis of these advanced cleaners should be expected in the coming months.
The Roborock Saros Z70 stood out as the brand's flagship model, impressing with its ability to pick up small objects. This robot features an extendable arm, known as Omnigrip, which can lift items weighing up to 300 grams and place them in a designated spot, thus facilitating space preparation before cleaning.
On the other hand, the Dreame X50 Ultra surprised everyone by demonstrating that it can roll over obstacles up to 6 cm high—a remarkable feat for a robot vacuum. This model can identify up to 200 types of objects and has a brush designed to prevent hair from tangling, maintaining a low noise level while working.
The Narwhal Flow, set to launch this year, has a rotating brush that allows it to effectively clean corners, along with scrubbing pads that automatically wash themselves thanks to its dirty and clean water tanks. This design enables more thorough cleaning compared to other models.
The Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni impressed with its self-cleaning mopping technology, where a series of nozzles continuously spray the mop cloth while a scraper removes any stuck residue. Its ability to lift the cloth to switch between different types of surfaces is also a significant advancement.
Finally, Mova, a relatively new brand in the Western market, introduced its Z50 Ultra model, which stands out for its powerful suction of 24,000Pa, one of the highest in the industry. This robot also includes lifting technology that allows it to navigate low obstacles and features a system that ensures optimal contact with the floor, which could address issues with marks left by some other models.
