The Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Adapter Could Disappear.

I hope you haven't lost yours.

The Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter seems to have reached its end, as it is sold out on the company's online store in the United States and much of the world. According to reports, this accessory is still available in some countries, such as France, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

If it has indeed disappeared, this could mark the end of an era. Apple introduced this adapter in 2016 with the launch of the iPhone 7 when it decided to eliminate the headphone jack. For a couple of generations, the company included the adapter with new iPhones, but stopped doing so with the iPhone XS in 2018, forcing users to purchase one themselves, opt for the Lightning EarPods, or join the phenomenon of AirPods, which many began to accept reluctantly.

Since the introduction of USB-C in the iPhone 15 lineup last year, the selection of Lightning items in the Apple store has been shrinking. Currently, only a few adapters, cables (including a special audio cable for the AirPods Max), and the Lightning EarPods remain. Additionally, it has been reported that the Lightning to VGA adapter has also disappeared from the U.S. store.
