The 'anti-AI' camera app by Zerocam is now available on Android.

Capture in RAW format, without the additional elements that some camera apps include.

Zerocam is a new camera app for Android devices that presents itself as an alternative for those who want to avoid excessive processing in their photos. This basic app allows users to capture images in RAW format, ensuring that artificial effects are eliminated, resulting in images with a more natural and pleasing appearance.

Zerocam's proposal responds to the growing dissatisfaction with HDR processing, which often produces flat images due to insufficient contrast. Compared to the Process Zero feature available in the Halide camera app for iPhone, Zerocam stands out by not providing a complicated interface. Instead, it features a simple viewfinder and a capture button, removing the possibility of modifying settings.

The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play store, although users are limited to taking only five photographs a day without needing to pay for a subscription. This subscription costs $0.99 per month or $10.99 per year. Zerocam requires devices to be updated to Android 14 or later versions to function properly.
