The 5 Best Turntables and Accessories Featured at CES 2025
High-end turntables on the market.
In recent years, vinyl record sales have experienced a remarkable increase. Artists and enthusiasts who have grown tired of the digital era of streaming services have begun to place more value on the collectibility and ownership of physical media. This surge has led the global vinyl market to grow to approximately $1.5 billion in 2023, with projections reaching $2.4 billion by 2030.
Hardware manufacturers, for their part, are striving to offer the best turntables for a new generation of buyers. During CES 2025, several companies showcased players that cater to different consumer profiles and price brackets. What all of these models have in common is their modern design and an array of interesting features beyond simply playing vinyl records.
Among the standout products is the Victrola Journey Glow, aimed at gamers who love RGB lights. This portable turntable, which has a starting price of $79.99 and will be available in spring, allows for LED light configurations to create visual shows while music plays, and offers Bluetooth streaming. While its sound quality remains uncertain, the product's popularity seems assured.
The Swiss brand Lenco, with over 75 years in the market, also presented several turntable options, highlighting the LS-570WA. This vinyl playback system combines a retro design with modern conveniences, including an 80W integrated sound system and the ability to stream music via Bluetooth. It will be available in the UK and EU for £389 / €389, and in the US for $469 in April.
Another interesting release was the Gadhouse COSMO Solar Edition, a portable turntable set to launch in February at a price of $199. This device includes numerous features such as Bluetooth streaming, playback of music files from USB and SD cards, as well as FM. With an attractive design and built-in speakers, there is also a dual jack option for headphones.
On the other hand, the Lenco TTA-080SI Record Stabilizer is an accessory designed to enhance the listening experience on more affordable turntables. This stabilizer not only adds weight but also features RGB lighting effects that sync with the music. It will be available in the UK and EU for £39 / €39, while in the US it will cost $49 starting in April.
Finally, the Victrola Wave is a mid-range turntable that deserves attention. With a pre-launch price of $399, it offers support for Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast, allowing audio to be streamed to multiple compatible devices without the need for pairing. It also features a switchable preamplifier, providing versatility for the user.
