Street Fighter 6 presents a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming downloadable character, Mai Shiranui.

It arrives on February 5th.

Capcom has released a gameplay trailer showcasing Mai Shiranui as the next fighter in Street Fighter 6. This iconic character, hailing from SNK's Fatal Fury series, will join the game's roster on February 5, 2025. Mai will be the second guest fighter in the history of the Street Fighter franchise.

The presentation trailer provides players with a detailed look at Mai's abilities and moves. As an expert in ninja techniques and aerial attacks, she uses a fan as her primary weapon. Her Kachousen move allows her to throw the fan like a fireball, while Ryuuenbu enables her to spin forward engulfed in flames, making it easier for her to perform combos and control space.

Among her abilities is Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi, which allows her to roll towards her enemies, and Hishou Ryuuenjin, which lets her execute a "dragon punch." She also has an aerial dash ability that lets her attack from above.

Regarding her Super Art, Mai has several options: Level One ignites the surrounding area, Level Two executes Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi, allowing her to advance and evade projectiles, and Level Three, Shiranui Ryuu: Enbu Ada Zakura, consists of a series of elegant fan attacks.

Additionally, Mai will have an alternate costume inspired by her new design in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will launch in April and can be acquired with Fighter Coins or by maximizing her bond in World Tour mode. Owners of the Year 2 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass will automatically receive Mai upon her release, while she will also be available for individual purchase with Fighter Coins.
