Bic, primarily known for its pens, razors, and lighters, has announced an unexpected collaboration for 2024. The new Hold the Phone case features a molded cutout on its back that allows for the storage of a Bic EZ Reach lighter, which has been designed in collaboration with Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg.
Starting today at 10 AM ET, two color options will be available in limited quantities: one in blue, designed to complement the lighter made by Stewart, and another in purple, inspired by Snoop Dogg. Each case is priced at $49.99 and is made from urethane rubber. Bic also suggests waiting five seconds after using the lighters before re-inserting them into the case, as iPhones tend to heat up on their own.
The Bic Hold the Phone case is offered in two colors: blue and purple. Each case includes two matching lighters, which are differentiated from traditional disposable lighters thanks to a 1.45-inch extension, making it easier to light hard-to-reach places. Although Bic's official communication states that they are useful for lighting candles, no other potential uses are specified.
Despite the large number of new cases that have emerged for the recent iPhone 16, Bic's new case is compatible only with the iPhone 15, excluding the iPhone 15 Plus and Pro models.
