I'm still amazed at how this MacBook Air cost only $240.

"PC? I'm officially a Mac fan now."

I've always wanted to have a Mac, influenced by the image of Carrie Bradshaw typing on one and by the presence of these devices on my university campus. However, the high cost kept me loyal to using PCs for years. Recently, I discovered refurbished MacBook deals and seized the opportunity to acquire a MacBook Air for just $239.99, originally priced at $999. Incredible, right?

This affordable price is due to the fact that refurbished laptops are computers that have had a previous owner and have been renewed for a new life. I think it’s a fantastic idea, as it not only saves money but also contributes to sustainability. When my MacBook arrived, it showed normal wear on the exterior, which I decided to conceal with a pink case.

The model of my MacBook Air is from 2017, giving it a classic touch. Although many Mac users look for the latest innovations, I really only needed a device for home use, such as shopping online, watching movies in bed, and occasionally using Microsoft Office. Here are the specifications of my device:

  • 13.3-inch display
  • Intel Core i5 processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 128 GB SSD storage
  • Up to 12 hours of battery life
  • Weighs less than three pounds

This MacBook perfectly meets my requirements. Although I've noticed a slight lag when having more than 30 tabs open in Chrome, that’s something I also experienced with my PC, so it wasn’t a surprise.

I can't believe I saved 75% on this refurbished MacBook Air. However, they are selling out quickly, so if you're interested, it's best to act soon.
